The city of Rottweil not only needs a new mayor, but also a new inner city manager. Tamara Retzlaff is no longer in office.
Rottweil – There is another personality that comes at the worst possible time for Rottweil: The city manager Tamara Retzlaff, on whom many hopes rested when she took office at the end of 2020, is no longer in office. The contract was terminated, and the position has now been re-advertised.
Maier praises cooperation!
Tamara Retzlaff has not been on duty for a long time – due to illness. Now the chairman of the Rottweiler trade and trade association (GHV), Detlev Maier, confirms when asked by our editors that the employment relationship no longer exists. You can hear his regrets. He emphasizes that it was only the months of illness that led to the separation from Retzlaff. „The collaboration was excellent, there weren’t any nuances,“ he explains.
Unfortunately, an early recovery is currently not in sight. One would have liked to wait for Retzlaff’s return – „but the tasks in Rottweil are too pressing – we can’t sit it out“. The 27-year-old herself confirms that her situation has hardly changed in the last six months. Nevertheless, she hasn’t lost her optimism: „I’m doing well given the circumstances. My head wants a lot, but my body can’t.“ Two days after the Covid-19 vaccination last year, the classic long-Covid symptoms with enormous physical limitations appeared.
According to Maier, the inner city management position, which is based at the GHV and is financially supported by the city, has already been advertised.
